Product Description
The lever operated M-175 and M-1100 hydrants deliver yearround service outside or in unheated buildings. This compression hydrant is ideal for parks, picnic areas and farms. It is designed for trouble-free reliability and easy maintenance.
To provide freeze resistant functionality, the control valve is located below the frost line. Pushing down on the lever-handle raises the internal supply-line assembly, controlling the valve. The lever-handle is a one-piece brass casting. Stock, top and base are fabricated of heavy, one-piece iron castings.
Nozzle and inner supply assembly incorporates solidbrass castings. All solid brass castings conform to ASTM standards B61 and B62.
As with any non-freeze hydrant, the M-175 and M-1100 hydrant must be operated fully “on.”
