Product Description
Model M-150 delivers year-round service outside or in unheated buildings. This compression hydrant is ideal for auxiliary fire protection, wastewater treatment plants, railroads and other areas requiring a large volume of water. It is designed for troublefree reliability and easy maintenance.
To provide freeze resistant functionality, the control valve is located below the frost line. Turning the wheel-handle raises or lowers the internal supply-line assembly, controlling the valve. The wheel-handle is a one-piece iron casting. Stock, top and base are fabricated of heavy, one-piece iron castings.
Nozzle and inner supply assembly incorporates solid-brass castings. All solid brass castings conform to ASTM standards B61 and B62.
As with any non-freeze hydrants, the M-150 hydrant must be operated fully “on.”
